A school for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) is seeking to appoint a teacher to start in September 2010.

The independent group linked with this school has ensured excellence and focus on children suffering from severe learning difficulties and Autism.

The school is located in Hackney with easy transport links from London Bridge.

A strong focus on full time and specific provisions for all pupils sees a very balanced pupil to staff ratio, with classes often being 1:1 and small groups (not exceeding 6). There are 8 teachers currently working at the school. They are all experienced working with special needs, therefore they require someone who is calm, empathetic and has experience working with the needs catered for at this school.
