This high achieving day special school for learners with severe learning difficulties based in Richmond are looking for an SEN teacher to start on a long term basis in September.

Many pupils have an additional diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorders or have additional physical and sensory disabilities so previous experience is required due to the specific needs of the pupils.

The pupils come from all parts of the borough and from neighbouring boroughs.

The school works closely with their colleagues from Health and Social Care to ensure that their pupils receive all the support and challenge they need to achieve.

They were recognised by OFSTED as Outstanding in 2009 and are committed to being even better.

All of the pupils have individual learning programs that detail what and how they are learning, including input from Speech and Language, Occupational, Physio and Music Therapy.

• To be successful you must hold a Teaching Qualification
• You must have a current police clearance.
• You should display a proven track record of pupil learning outcomes.
