Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is recruiting for daily supply staff to provide cover for seasonal sickness throughout the autumn term and specifically to work in Secondary schools in the borough of Newham and Tower Hamlets.

We work with a variety of Secondary schools and can offer flexible working depending on your needs and that of the school. You will need to have a can-do attitude, be reliable, flexible and have a minimum of six months Teaching Assistant experience. This is great way to secure regular work that can fit around other interests and commitments.

Successful candidates can work as regularly as they want and need to be available from 7am every morning to call in for daily supply and will be required to work a standard school day of 8.30 – 3.30. Supply work can also lead to long term placements.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
- You must have good spoken English;
- You must have a minimum of 6 months related experience in a School/Nursery setting;
- Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
- You need to supply two recent professional references, relating to your work with children;
- This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
