Teaching Assistant

A Roman Catholic Primary school in Northwest London are currently looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible.

They require a very experienced Learning Support Assistant to work with two children with speech and language difficulties in Year 3. The position will also involve running speech and language across the year group to aid other children.

They are very particular that the successful person MUST have either prior experience of working with children with speech and language difficulties, or a qualification in same.

This school has been rated as a good school by OFSTED, but they do have a real mix of children, meaning that behaviour can be an issue at times. However, feedback from our staff has always been great, and we're assured that it's a very rewarding school to work in.

As mentioned earlier, relevant experience with this type of SEN is essential, and knowledge of Makaton and/ or PECs would be extremely advantageous.

- You must have good spoken English;
- You must have a minimum of 6 months related experience in a School/Nursery setting;
- Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
- You need to supply two recent professional references, relating to your work with children;
