SEN Teaching Assistant

A Primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a Teaching Assistant with Special Needs experience to join their team on a 1 year contract.

The school is small, but benefits from excellent transport links, a welcoming and friendly culture and a progressive and inspirational Head Teacher who is dedicated to his school.
The successful candidate would be working 1-on-1 with a child with severe Special Needs, which are mainly physical.

You’ll need to have a passion for working with children, have a caring heart and Special Needs experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanour are also imperative.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
- You must have good spoken English;
- You must have a minimum of 6 months related experience in a School/Nursery setting;
- Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
- You need to supply two recent professional references relating to your work with children;
- This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
