Financial Control

Role:

Provide timely and accurate financial management information to facilitate budgeting and analysis, to enable managers across the Bank to make informed decisions both at a strategic and operational level

Requirements:

*Prepare monthly and quarterly compensation and/or HR results for the Group, ensuring reports for Senior Managers are produced in a timely and accurate manner and that the appropriate validation & control framework has been followed. This may involve some redesign and upgrade of the existing process. To achieve this successfully you will need to monitor/ address monthly issues as they arise.

*Be responsible for implementing the appropriate validation and controls framework for compensation and/or HR in conjunction with our internal experts. Validation and Control involves ensuring all information and advice provided by Finance to its stakeholders is complete, consistent and prepared in accordance with the firm's policies and guidelines and all relevant regulatory, accounting and control frameworks; e.g. COSO, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx), IFRS.

*Assisting with regulatory and tax relationships which will often involve undertaking significant work in responding to regulatory and tax audit queries.

*Work to develop relationships where previously none have existed, understanding the business model and the impact that compensation-related issues have on the area.

Qualifications:

Qualified accountant

Investment Banking Experience

ACA qualified
