Art & Photography Teacher

Tradewind is looking for a strong Art & Design Teacher who can teach GCSE and A level Art, as well as A Level Photography. This role would be to start as soon as possible for one term initially with a view to go on until the end of the academic year.

Expectations are high and very good subject knowledge is demonstrated in a very well planned, varied, and stimulating and challenging lessons delivered with expertise and enthusiasm. QTS would be an advantage but not essential and NQT’s would be suitable for this role. Classroom management is a key factor for the right teacher for this role.

My client is a large mixed comprehensive school based in North London. This is a good school which helps pupils to realise that they are all of equal worth and can achieve their potential regardless of their starting point. The school serves a multicultural community and many of our students are bilingual. The school is over subscribed and is located in a very nice, leafy area and walking distance from the nearest tube in north London. In 2002 the school was awarded Performing Arts Status. The teachers have access to 45 Interactive Whiteboards across the school which ensures an enhanced learning experience for their students.
